The first program Caglewood rolled out was a weekend camping program. The first trip was in the spring of 2002 near Athens GA, which was a great success and has been followed by many more.
Today we offer trips in almost every month of the year. The trips leave on Friday afternoon, and return Sunday. These trips are designed for children and adults with special needs and include a wide range of activities and therapies. Camping locations vary and include national and state parks and activities are dependant upon the Camp site.
Caglewood Day Trips started in 2004 and continue to transform normal days into amazing adventures for children and adults with disabilities. Each trip offers unique opportunities just like the weekend camping trips without having to stay overnight. These trips include trips to sporting events, water-parks, museums etc.
