Camp's Description

Our first camp, The Special Effects Day Camp, began during the summer of 1997 in Louisville Kentucky. The Camp directors Bob & Sue Hagan, designed a camp to educate students on how science is used in producing Hollywood's greatest movies using special techniques in their productions. We want kids to get excited about science! Our camps provide a unique way for students to learn science by performing experiments, building projects, and experiencing the practical side of science. This year we are offering a total of fourteen camps. Four of the camps are for younger children ages 4&5. There are four different themed sessions to choose from depending on the week they are offered. They include: Camp Jurassic, Camp Jr. Chemist, Camp Little Engineer, and Camp Young Physician. We are offering five camps for children ages 6,7,and 8. These are Camp Paleo, Camp Young Scientist, Camp Jolly Roger, Camp Cosmos, and Camp Little Robot Inventor. In addition to these, we are offering four camps in the 9-13 year old range. They are Camp Video Game Maker, Camp Robot Inventor, Camp CSI, and Camp Emergency Vet.
