unprofessional, disorganized, not transparent with the facts May 25, 2010

Most of the administrative staff are young enough to be my children. That's good for their vibrant energy but immature for running their administrative. Unfortunately, I found them disorganized and not up to date. Their e-mail correspondence was a proof of not having the right paper work in order and getting the wrong e-mail from them. Furthermore, Unprofessional, as they are not transparent with the "true facts" about how they give out financial aids. They lure you to the camp and give false promises to get the Jewish Federation incentive and keep you in the dark till it's too late to apply anywhere else and it's time to pay with out any grants from their camp!!!! This camp doesn't have much financial support. That says a lot about a camp!!!!

Camp Alonim is a wonderful camp. My daughter is having the time of her life there and has made so many good friends already. I attended there as a child and was thrilled to be able to send my own child there. I didn't necessarily count on her loving it as much as I did but she does! They get to swim every day if they want, horseback ride, hike, Israeli dance and spend lots of quality time making friends. The counselors are sweet and energetic and really seemed to help her acclimate easily. I recommend it highly.
