Camp's Description
For over 40 years, Camp Kushtaka has been providing youth with the opportunity to explore a beautiful wilderness setting, engage in challenging activities and gain confidence in themselves and others. It's a place where children and young adults develop self-esteem, independence, leadership ability, environmental awareness, a taste for adventure and friendships that can last a lifetime. With the supportive guidance of caring adult counselors, campers build their own unique community in which each member can experience a sense of belonging, connectedness, safety, acceptance and appreciation. The ability to not only be a part of the magic that is camp, but to also have a role in creating it gives campers the experiences needed to become more confident, caring and independent.
