DISCOVERY DAY CAMP is a day camp serving children ages 4- 13.
3 choices of camp hours:
8:40-3:25 Camp times without bus or extended hours
7:30-6:00 Camp with Extended Hours
8:00 -4:00 (approximate times) Camp with bus service
Buses go to the folloowing Illinois commujities: Glencoe, Northbrook, Northfield, Glenview, Winnetka, Deerfield, Highland Park, Lake Forest, Riverwoods, Bannockburn, Lincolnshire, Buffalo Grove, Vernon Hills, Mundelein, Gurnee, Long grove, Kildeer, Hawthorn Woods and parts of Arlington Heights and Wheeling.

Other: Adventure-Travel Camp for campers entering 7th and 8th grades

Brief Description of Camp: Discovery Day Camp provides an enriching environment where your child learns new skills, enhances existing skills, and has fun. At Discovery we encourage children to grow while making new friends and renewing old relationships. Campers are introduced to new and different games and activities including: swimming (twice each day – three times for extended day campers), fine arts, sports, nature, ropes course, and special events. Equally important, Discovery is a safe and nurturing environment where children play in a relaxed age appropriate outdoor setting. Children are challenged to try new skills that are taught in a noncompetitive atmosphere as they form memorable relationships with their group and group leaders.
Children who participate in extended day will have the opportunity to take part in a variety of fun activities before and after the regular camp day.
