I was hired by Avid4Adventure this summer. There was no relocation assistance, and after finally finding housing, I was pretty exhausted and at the same time relieved to finally be situated in Boulder. An incident at camp happened where I made a mistake that in most circumstances would have been seen as an honest mistake and perhaps given a strong warning. I was fired. I rate Avid4Adventure poorly based on my own hurt from what happened after I relocated my whole life to Boulder for the job. I don't believe they are as in integrity as they like to believe, and do not consider their employees as well as they should. Others, however, would say they have had a wonderful experience and so have many kids in the programs. My review is based on my own personal experience.
