Camp's Description
Camp Little Giant offers summer residential and day camp opportunities to people with various abilities and disabilities. As one of the first camps of this type in the nation, we have served both children and adults for over 5 decades. Today, we continue to serve the recreational, educational, social and developmental needs of our campers.
We focus on providing a safe environment in which to experience personal growth and enrichment. By offering a wide variety of activities, we strive to provide each camper with a sense of appreciation, cooperation, independence, accomplishment, awareness and fun. Camp Little Giant provides a balanced combination of comfort and challenge, community and seclusion, excitement and relaxation. The wooded setting and lakefront offer oppurtunities for creative programming, outdoor education, and serious summer fun.
Our activities include: swimming, boating, fishing, nature & outdoors, sports & games, arts & crafts, expressive arts, special events, horseback riding, adventure and team building.
