Camp Cromwell is open year-round and has two primary summer programs:
+ Day Camp is for boys ages 6-14 with two- and one-week sessions. This general program involves the campers in a variety of activities that focus on a theme to strengthen and develop the boy's sense of self-worth, social & civic responsibilitiy and maturation. The activities include swimming, field & court sports, high & low ropes, nature awareness, arts & crafts, performing arts, farm animals, cooperative games, quiet & table games, and guided disucssion. Registration for Day Camp starts in March.
+ Gardiner School is a six-week residential academic program for boys entering grades 5-8 with the purpose of helping the students prepare for high school and to be able to select a good high school. The subjects include the sciences, performing & visual arts, liturature, language, history, social studies, math, and composition. Late afternoon swimming, recreation and physical education is included. Applications for Gardiner School start the fall.
All campers and students at Camp Cromwell must be enrolled members of The Boys' Club of New York ($.50/year membership fee) although they do not need to live in New York City.
Camp Cromwell is accredited by the American Camp Association.
