Camp's Description
Camp Galil is "The Spirit of Kibbutz Close to Home". Located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Camp Galil is a co-ed Jewish summer overnight Camp for ages 9-16. We offer 2, 3, 4 & 7 week sessions and are ACA accredited. Founded in 1946, Camp Galil is the local representative of the 7 Habonim Dror Camps. We provide Jewish Youth with a community and experience they will treasure their entire lives. In addition, we have an Israel trip program for 10th graders, a junior counselor program for 11th graders and a year-long youth movement for all our campers.
In addition to our sports, swimming, and arts & crafts programming, we have a variety of unique features: a high and low ropes course, out-of-camp trips, Hebrew language, informal education and Shabbat observance. We are kosher. Each summer our campers do tikkun olam (social service) projects such as packaging food for the Jewish Relief Agency and working with the Urban Tree Connection.
