Camp's Description

For over 90 years, campers have called Camp Winnataska their summer home. It  is 20 minutes east of Birmingham, Alabama. We have over 1,600 acres with beautiful Kelly Creek meandering through the property and spilling into Grace Lake. Summer camp begins in June for boys and girls 6-15 for six, one week sessions with scheduled mini camps for younger campers 6-8.Camps are all girls and Co-ed. The camp fee is all inclusive: It includes all camp programing and activities, insurance, accomodations, meals, snacks at canteen, hut picture and a t-shirt.Daily activities include swimming, canoes, horseback riding,crafts, recreation, nature study,out-doors and low-ropes course.Night activities include Indian Night, Country Night,"Mission Impossible", Song Night and the Pageant of the Holy Grail which honors outstanding leaders and staff. We offer "Christian Camping at its Best". ACA accrediated.

We also have year round camp with accomodations to fit any size group. Our facilities can be used for workshops, retreats, men or women conferences or just a family reunion.
