Camp's Description

Camp Cherith of Western New York is a traditional Christian summer camp that is open to boys and girls ages 7-17. We offer a year-round camp facility that started as a place for Pioneer Girls to hold summer programming. We recently opened the camp to boys. Families, churches, and civic groups use the facility in the off-season.

The site contains 125 acres of lovely meadows, wooded trails, creeks, a three-acre pond and some great fishing. The camp program runs from late June through early August, and we offer archery, riflery, arts & crafts, nature exploration, hiking, canoing, swimming, horses, friends, kayaking, mountain bikes and geocacheing.

Not worth the money June 24, 2011

My kids went a few summers ago and did not like this camp. The facility is rundown and the staff don't seem to care. The counselors are nice enough, but really young. The senior staff have a philosophy that is out of touch with young people. I felt like it was a waste of money.
