Camp's Description
In the heart of Muskoka lies a place of beauty, warmth and laughter. It's a place where friendships are forged, skills are learned, and memories are made.
It's a place where one can fall asleep under the stars and wake up to the sound of loons. It's a place that touches everyone who has experienced its magic.
It's a place where children spend their summers year after year. This place is Camp Tamarack.

Camp Tamarack is an incredible place to send your children for the summer!!! My kids loved their counselors, the food, and, of course, the activities. The programs are fun and absolutely amazing. The staff are very caring and always there for the kids. The chef is great and there are a variety of alternatives at meals. My kid even asked if I could get the recipe for one of the salad dressings served at Tamarack! The camp communicates very well with parents and in a timely manner. The website includes tons of pictures, videos, and more. Tamarack is a welcoming environment and my kids have made friends that I know will last them forever!

This is very overpriced camp. The new owner Rick Howard raised the price by 50% and promised to turn the camp into a walden or white pine .Instead he did nothing and watched in awe as half the campers and staff left. There are so few kids there and the camp might have trouble staying open. For what they charge you can send your child to many high end camps. The camp used to be a lower to middle of the road camp and was priced right. Now its the same camp 50% more and no kids.Buying new life jackets doesn't count.
