Camp's Description

Hawaii Extreme Adventure Scuba Camp has a variety of summer programs in which teenagers and families can enjoy fun in the sun while learning to scuba dive. Any teenager would love to try Hawaii Extreme Adventure Scuba Camp, a two-week scuba camp in the island state open to youths 12-17. The cost of $2090 includes lodging, all meals, excursions around the island, four open water dives and an official diving PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) open water certification. Students are picked up at the airport (the camp sends them a shirt to wear on the plane so they can easily be identified). Airfare is, of course, extra. The scuba camp also offers a slightly less expensive 10-day scuba camp for families where both parents and teen-agers receive scuba certification. When the campers are not scuba diving, they are participating in excursions around the island: Polynesian Cultural Center, Hike Diamond Head, Hawaiian Waters-waterslide park, Germaines’ Luau, and Pearl Harbor.
