Buckley Country Day Camp provides a unique and enriching summer program for today's educated youth. We offer a summer filled with fun, challenge, and life changing experiences utilizing the wonderful grounds and expansive facilities available through the Buckley Country Day School.
At Buckley the daily camp experience becomes a combination of the active sounds of laughter, enthusiasm, and learning. The self-confidence of campers grows as they are challenged by their activities and exposed to new programs. The sense of community at Buckley is one of our greatest strengths and for each camper feeling the bond of being a special part of the group in a nurturing environment is essential.
Our Junior Campers (age 3-6) are exposed to a variety of age appropriate activities that focus on skill development, socialization, and a strong feeling of self-accomplishment.
Our Intermediate Campers(age 7-8) and our Senior Campers (age 9-12) have similar age, skill, and ability. Workshops are offered in the arts, enrichment, and sports, and are designed to teach new skills, discover new passions, and enhance your child's current interests.
Buckley is a place where lasting friendships are created, professional and devoted instructors foster learning, and campers take part in designing the fun that will make this summer so memorable.
Our Teen Camp is focused on having fun, gaining valuable experience, and meeting new people. Throughout the day our Teens, also known as Counselors-in-Training (age 13-15), have fun in activities, participate in a learning internship, and have time to socialize with friends both old and new. We want our Teens to learn the key elements of becoming a strong and well-rounded future counselor. All this, plus weekly off-campus trips and you have the formula for a fantastic summer.
Please take a moment to read through our website and learn more about our program, staff, and facilities. I would also like to invite you to visit our beautiful 25-acre campus during one of our Open houses or during a private tour. I look forward to meeting you and your family and helping you with any questions you might have concerning your important enrollment decisions.
