Camp Tall Timbers is situated on 120 privately owned acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains of 15 miles west of Winchester, VA and serves children aged 7 to 16. With a 35-year history it offers campers a close-knit community that stresses educational, moral and physical development. The camp promotes a young persons positive self-image. Camp Tall Timbers has the ability to offer individualized, exciting and rewarding programs to our campers. Camp Tall Timbers is the perfect place for your children to swim in our pool, ride at our stables, water-ski at the lake, play some tennis or do a gazillion other cool things. We offer a variety of sessions, plus great family programs. Accredited by the American Camp Association, references available upon request. For boys and girls ages 7 to 16 (grades 1-10), Camp Tall Timbers is the perfect opportunity to enjoy life on their own. For parents, it is the worry-free answer to the question, "How will I entertain them all summer long?" Camp Tall Timbers, located in High View, West Virginia, is truly a family affair. Founded in 1970 by Executive Director Jerry Smith, today, his son Glenn serves as Camp Director and manages all aspects of the operation year round. Together they bring over 50 years of camp experience to Camp Tall Timbers. Accredited by the American Camp Association, Camp Tall Timbers is picky about the quality of its counselors. We are extremely proud of our 4 to 1 camper to staff ratio always focusing on your child's diet, health and well being. Most of all, we're here to have fun.
