Camp's Description The Ashram has been a place of retreat for over forty years, a place to learn the practice of yoga and discover techniques for calming the mind. We are a sanctuary of natural beauty located only one hour's drive from Montreal.
The Ashram was founded in 1963 by Swami Vishnu-devananda, and is a thriving community, internationally-renowned for its teachings. We welcome both those who have never tried yoga before as well as those who have been practising for many years and our program allows for a weekend getaway or a more extended yoga vacation. We have courses on meditation, Sanskrit and ayurveda as well as our world-acclaimed Teachers' Training Courses, open to all ages from whatever walk of life or background.
