Camp's Description A Chess Learning Center "KnightMare" summer chess camps is a structured week of concentrated chess instruction for beginning, intermediate and advanced scholastic chess players. The goal of our summer chess camps is to have young chess players ready to compete in local and state scholastic chess competitions. Chess camp participants are grouped by similar skill and age groups for lessons focusing on various aspects of chess including chess notation and chess etiquette.
By the end of the week, students will have a new sense of how to employ chess maneuvers such as opposition, triangulation and create zugzwang to gain a competitive advantage.
