Camp's Description

Summer Sports Camp is a fun filled, friendship-building, active way to enjoy the summer. The focus of this camp is to provide excellent coaching in a variety of sports supported by counselors who understand the value of good sportsmanship and team spirit. Counselors and coaches bond with their campers and work hard on building new skills, self confidence and team spirit.
You do not have to be an athlete to enjoy this camp. Some campers have never tried many of the sports and activities that we will introduce to them. The campers that are skilled athletes will be challenged and motivated by our highly qualified staff. Our goal is to guide and teach every camper according to their ability while making the activities fun and rewarding. The following sports will be part of every week: Volleyball, basketball, soccer, archery, swimming and field sports.

My son went to the camp on 24th St and Cactus and didn't like it. Hubbard lists all the activities that they provide. For example archery, however each child only gets to shoot 2 arrows (Yes 2 arrows). My son was very upset, I did ask the conselor about shooting 2 arrows. I was told that because each group is so large they can only shoot 2. I feel for the cost of the program they should be given more time for different events. After one week, we went back to the Boys and Girls club which is a lot cheaper. Also, Boys and Girls clubs has different events each week.
