Camp Setebaid

Camp Setebaid offers a normal camping experience for children who just happen to have Type 1 Diabetes.  The camp is staffed by mature adults and experienced professionals, including a Camp Director, Program Director, physician Medical Director, and experienced Counselors.  All staff, many who have diabetes themselves, are trained in child development psychology, and diabetes healthcare issues.  There is one staff member for every three (Youth Camp) or five (Teen Camp) campers; there is one medical team (including a physician) for every 20 campers.

Youth Camp: Camp Setebaid's Youth Camp serves campers aged 8-13 and has been operating for over 28 years.

Teen Camp:  Camp Setebaid's Teen Camp serves teens aged 13-17 and offers electives for the campers to choose their concentration areas of interest.  These electives are included with the normal camping programs.
