A special focus of the Academy is sports psychology and the vital role it plays in fostering a winning attitude and peak performance. Students participate in workshops and discussions that will better prepare them for life's challenges.
The Sports Academy is also the summer home of the Berkshire Dukes Baseball Team of the New England Collegiate Baseball League. The NECBL is an NCAA & NJCAA wooden bat league supported by Major League Baseball. Last year 68 players were selected from this league by Major League Baseball teams in their annual draft. Players on the team are some of the best college players in the country and some are instructors at the Camp. Adult Baseball Fantasy camps and Parent Child camps are also offered along with baseball and softball tournaments.
