Camp's Description
This basketball school is a reflection of the tremendous amount of dedicated coaching I've received throughout my career as a student/athlete and a professional basketball player. Over the past thirty years, with the assistance of many highly qualified and respected basketball coaches from the New England region, an extremely successful program has evolved. Each year we attempt to improve our service of providing an instructional and motivational program to young athletes so they might better understand the skills and disciplines associated with basketball. The staff look forward to playing and working with you this summer.
Dave Cowens, former star of the Boston Celtics, NBA Rookie of the Year, Most Valuable Player, member of numerous All Star Teams, member of 1974 and 1976 World Champion Boston Celtics, and distinguished member of those players honored by having their numbers retired, elected into the Basketball Hall of Fame, Assistant Coach, San Antonio Spurs, Head Coach, Charlotte Hornets, Head Coach, Golden State Warriors, selected as one of the greatest 50 NBA players of all time, current General Manager and Head Coach of the new Chicago WNBA Team (Chicago Sky).

3 of 5 people found this review helpfulI have been to several basketball camps. This was by far the best. The instruction and games were great. Dave Cowens was super. He showed me some great defense. I can't wait to go back.

3 of 3 people found this review helpfulThis is the best basketball camp that my 16 year old son has ever attended. The coaching was great and the evaluations and lectures really helped my son improve and understand his role on the court. Mr Amorosino, the director, has worked with Dave Cowens for 30 years and his knowledge and lectures were great. My son said that he learned so much and had a fun time doing it. They get campers from all over the U.S. and even foreign countries. My son said that he enjoyed the exposure not just to local players. He also said the food was good.
