Camp's Description

The Irvine Ranch Outdoor Education Center is a 210 acre, one-of-a-kind outdoor learning facility.  The $33 million site boasts three themed camps - Astronomy Camp, Ranch Camp, and Mining Camp with hiking, swimming in 2 pools, Jr. Olympic pool and pool with mountain water slide, COPE course, zip lines, archery, amphitheater, nature center, 10,000 square foot dining hall and more.  We have 6 bunkhouses that sleep a total of 288 and tent camping for 350.  Our K-12 Outdoor Education Programs offer hands-on outdoor experiences, interactive games, and curriculum rich in California content standards in science, history, language arts, math, arts and music.  Camps of all varieties abound: Summer Discovery Camp, Spring Break R&R, Special Needs Camps, Boy Scout Camps, and Half-Day through 5-Day Academic Programs.  Through first-hand wilderness experiences, children learn to live in and love the outdoors.  

The Irvine Ranch Outdoor Education Center is expected to serve more than 50,000 young people annually.  It is located at the end of Jamboree Road adjacent to Irvine Regional Park at 2 Irvine Park Road in Orange, California.
