| Extremely upset with the treatment my son got while attending your "wonderful" camp. This camp was chosen as we thought they were prepared for the obvious behaviors that come along with kids like our son. Not only did we have to pay for four weeks when he got "Kicked out" after two, now we are learning that the staff refused to separate an obvious Bully from my son's cabin to keep peace and that my son supposedly overused (abused?) the designated "safe" place.
I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND this camp to anyone who has a child who does not want to be a drugged zombie to follow every rule and whim of the camp staff (professionals?????????) |

CAMP KODIAK is an outstanding camp for kids with special needs.
My daughter has attended Camp Kodiak for the last 9 years.
The ratio of counsellors to campers is wonderful.
They kids are well supervised. The camp staff are helpful, enthusiastic individuals varying in ages, ready to make our kids camp experience a positive one! They are qualified and can handle many different situations that arise. While at camp, Our daughter made some major gains in her social skills development, academics and self esteem. She has formed lasting friendships from all over the world! This impressive camp has a large variety of different activities, they even have horses the kids can ride. They also have a day when parents visit and the campers put on a show. We are very grateful that our daughter has been able to enjoy and experience 'camp life' at Camp Kodiak. We wish every child's experience to be as positive as ours. We are certain you would not be disappointed!
