The best camp out there, no question. Jan 01, 2007

| I've sent my 3 sons to just about every lax camp in the East over the last 8 years and this is consistently the best. The camp staff is top-notch - they bring college head coaches, All-Americans, National Champions, and Hall of Famers. The expertise of the staff ensures that my sons learn new skills and improve their game, as a result they always come back better players than they were before they left. Other camps out there boast "celebrity" players, but when it comes down to it they're rarely on the fields, working 1:1 with the kids. At the All American camp, my oldest son couldn't believe he was being working with a college coach who just won the Division 3 Nat'l Championship! He couldn't have asked for a better mentor.
The camp provides a nice blend of instruction, drills/skill development, and games, so the kids don't get "burn-out" from doing the same things every day. They play a *lot*, they don't just sit around in the dorms all day. My boys have a lot of energy, but even they commented on how tired they were at the end of the day!
The facilities are very good. The turf field is in great condition and they play the championship games on it, with all the rest of the camp watching. The other fields are in good condition. The dorms are what you'd expect from a college campus, although it would be nice if they could get larger rooms. Be warned - there are lots of hills here - you'll get your legs in shape!
Overall my sons have been extremely happy with the All American Lacrosse Camp. Walt Munze runs a first-class program and his camp has helped all 3 of my sons develop into college scholarship players. |
