I sent a chubby sad lonely 13 year old girl a thousand miles away and trusted Jean and the Camp JumpStart team with her self esteem and her future. BEST DECISION I HAVE EVER MADE FOR MY DAUGHTER! I heard horrible things about other fitness camps... run by "Fitness Nazi's" and I was terrified to trust a stranger with the fragile ego of my blossoming Teenage Girl. After talking at length to Jean on the phone I knew she was our best hope for a fun summer of fitness and growth. She went well out of her way to make sure my daughter was paired with girls on her level and as a result, my child raved about CJS and is begging to go back... She is happy, confident and She actually misses the exercise!! She even learned to ride a bike something she vowed never to do as long as she lived after taking a little spill. I trusted Jean at first because she is a fellow Nurse... now I trust her because I believe she is truly dedicated to the physical and emotional health of every child she meets. Do whatever you have to do to send your child to Camp Jump Start.. you will not regret the decision.
