Camp Pennacook is Awesome! Jul 19, 2007
reviewer: Michele Sabri from Boston, MA area Rowley, MA
This is my daughter's second year at Pennacook and she loves it.. Other than the fact that she is the farthest stop on the bus, so she leaves home at 7 and gets home at 6, this is an amazing time for the kids. Actually, even she doesn't mind the bus ride, but for me, I find her exhausted every night, but every morning she hops out of bed excited to go again. She learned to swim there (after over $1000 of swim lessons, she FINALLY learns in the first week she is at camp! Go figure), she tried new food and she learned how to enjoy the outdoors. I love it here. Bring lots of bug spray, though.

Camp Runels Rocks! Jul 19, 2007
reviewer: Michele Sabri from Boston, MA area Pelham, NH
My daughter went for overnight camp in the Blazing Saddles program this summer. She just turned 8. She had an amazing time and her favorite part was riding the horses, although since it was only 3 times during the week, I will assume that she loved it all! She tried new food (which she won't do at home) and she tried new activities. This is a Girl Scout camp and the security was very good both dropping off and picking up. The counsellors were great. I would not hesitate to send her again or recommend, as long as the child is okay to be away from home (she had a friend that was there and got too homesick to enjoy herself, but she also would not try any of the activities, so she might have enjoyed herself despite the homesickness had she been more participative).
