A warm and loving community... Nov 21, 2008

I had worked at Hidden Valley many years ago...and am thrilled to now be a camp parent. My 9 year old son went to HVC for the first time last summer, and I realized how different it is to be a parent. I had to let go and trust that my baby was happy, safe, engaged and well taken care of. Hidden Valley staff and directors go above and beyond to create a nurturing and family-like environment. My son loved every minute of his time at camp..He loved his activities, the creative and sometimes wacky evening programs, the attentive staff, the plentiful and delicious food. He has already recruited his 7 year old sister for next summer! My son came home content and more mature...HVC is an oasis in a stressful world. You can't find a better camp.
