AWESOME summer camp! Aug 11, 2008

A fantastic 2 weeks in the woods for my 12 year old. He came home and told me, "Thanks for the best experience of my life!". And he really meant it. The beautiful setting in the pinelands with gorgeous lakes was a great start. The incredible motivated and caring counselors sealed the deal. But the whole set up was awesome - swimming, kayaking, archery, air rifles, horseback riding, arts, crafts, music, sports even fun things like card tricks and dramatic presentations. My nervous and sensitive 10 year old went all by himself - no friends at all - and was immediately welcomed into the fold by his counselor and the "village chief", made friends wiht his bunkmates and had a great time. The core values of honesty, respect, caring and responsibility are modeled by the staff, explained and integrated into every activity. This camp really makes a difference.
