a special place Nov 19, 2008

My 9 year old son went for 4 weeks last summer (2008) and had the best time, he can not wait to return. The camp is small and nurturing. There is a wide range of activities for the kids to choose from, including sports, crafts, animal care, etc. It is definitely not a "fancy" camp but more of the funky, hippy-dippy variety, lots of animals, lots of silly activities, lots of fun. The staff all seemed wonderful and the food was excellent (and healthy). I know many other children of varying ages that have gone there and they all loved it. When I visited I thought "wow, this is kid heaven". I highly recommend it.
