Camp Rim rock is the best place to be Nov 08, 2008

This is my 5th year at Rim Rock. The first time I went, I was so nervous because I didn't know what the people were going to be like or if I would make any friends. I only knew one person who went with me. After the first day, I was talking with everyone. Just like that, I might have made friends with everyone in my unit, even the counselors. The counselors are what makes camp fun. They are there for you when you need help and they are really fun to be around with. I still keep in close contact with some of my counselors from camp on Facebook. I have learned to be independent at Rim Rock. Its like a second home to me. I love going because I know I will make tons of friends and have a great time. Being away from all the hassle at home is great. You get to be outdoors all the time and do fun activities. Next year, I will be a CIT at rim rock and I am very excited to be working at such a wonderful environment.
