Summer Friends Day Camps

Summer Friends Day Camps provide safe and enjoyable learning experiences for people age four and older in a natural setting, emphasizing Quaker values.   We are located on a 140-acre, wooded campus at the Sandy Spring Friends School (SSFS). Summer Friends Day Camps (SFDC) are known for the variety of programs offered, expansive facilities and knowledgeable, nurturing staff. SFDC emphasizes Quaker values such as honesty, simplicity, nonviolence and stewardship. We aim to provide your campers with interesting, fun camps, where they can learn new skills, expand their creativity and meet new friends.  SFDC does not discriminate on the basis of gender, sexual orientation, race, color, religion, disability, national or ethnic origin in admissions or in our employment policies.
