Camp's Description

Play Ball! Learn from the West Coast Conference Champs! Learn and improve your offense, defense, pitching, base running, hitting, throwing, fielding, and position play. Focus is on competitive strategies to make each camper a better player. Features: Division I Coaches, Instruction sessions, Full games and competition.

Rich Hill is entering is 8th year with USD. In the past 3 years, USD has been the most winning program in the WCC. Toreros have won back-to-back WCC Championships in 2002 and 2003. San Diego's Rich Hill has built the USD Toreros into one of the most successful Division I baseball programs on the West Coast. The 2006 spring season will be Hill's 19th year as a head coach at the collegiate level, and eighth at USD, having enjoyed 15 winning seasons in 18 years. He was honored as WCC Coach of the Year in 2002. Coach Hill has run sports camps for kids over his entire career. Coach Hill started "Skill it Camps," LLC in 2000, and has run successful baseball camps since its inception. Hill and his wife Lori are very active in community sports programs with their kids Robbie (14) and Lindsey (11).
